RADIO provides a unique service in today's

world of consolidation and outside group ownership. GO-Radio is
home-owned,
independent, and operated by a staff that has been with the station an
average of over 34 years. This stability and dedication pays off for
the
listener and advertisers. Local people care about the community

are aware of the needs of businesses and listeners. The sales and
programming
staff are always working toward excellence to provide quality, complete

GO-Radio offers
two separate stations with popular music formats for true variety--lite
rock and oldies of FM and classic country, bluegrass and gospel on AM.
Plus, full service news, sports and radar weather.
At GO-Radio,
there is a total commitment to public service and community
involvement.
This has brought many local, state and national news and public service
honors to the station including Kentucky's only recipient of the National
Crystal
Award
for programming & community involvement; WGOH won the award in 1999
and WUGO received the award in 2003, 2005 and again in 2008.
GO-Radio
has been a 2-time
finalist
for the "Marconi" award as best small-market station in the nation in
1996
& 1999, and a 2000 winner of the Kentucky Broadcasters Association
"Golden Tower Award" for Community Service and Public Involvement. Go
Radio has received numerous other news and public service recognitions
locally and state-wide.

WGOH-AM
was established in 1959 and operates at 1370 kHz with 5000 watts
non-directional
daytime, with 500 watts for pre-sunrise and two hours post-sunset. WGOH
is on the air from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. ( 7 p.m. in winter months) with a
format
of country gold, with midday segments of bluegrass and gospel. CBS,
Kentucky
Network and Local news highlight the morning, noontime, and evening
hours.
Religious programming is featured on Sunday. Target audience is
35-65.
WUGO-FM
was established in 1967 and operates at 102.3 MHz stereo, with 4800
watts.
WUGO is on the air 24 hours a day with an adult lite rock format of
favorites
of yesterday and today. In addition to CBS, Kentucky Network and Local
news, U-102 carries complete sports coverage of local high school,
University
of Kentucky, and Reds baseball. Target audience is 25-54. WUGO
simulcasts
major newscasts with WGOH, including all news/information segments
&
the Mornings on the Go show from 6 to 8:15 a.m. "GO" RADIO is
consistently
the most popular station in the county.
CABLE
TV-14 GRAYSON was established in 1982 and is the local
community
television for the eastern Carter County area, serving over 2900 homes.
Audio is from WUGO, with color video messages, 24 hours a day--time,
local
newslines, temperature, weather, radar screens, plus local video news
magazine
shows.
