Hosted by the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service and Grayson Sports Park, the free community event will take place Monday, June 22nd from 10 AM until 1 PM at Grayson Sports Park.
Organizers say the event is all about celebrating summer, staying active, and giving local kids and families a chance to get outside and enjoy everything the park has to offer.
The day will feature access to the playground and splash pad, along with music, outdoor games, obstacle courses, art activities, giveaways, story time, and plenty more family-friendly fun throughout the afternoon.

Exciting news from the higher-ups at District Nine of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet as it was announced that Carter County is receiving nearly 70-thousand dollars in emergency road aid funding from the Cabinet.
State officials announced this week that Carter County will receive 69-thousand, 820 dollars to repair a drainage structure on Waterfall Creek Road, also known as County Road 1685.
Transportation leaders say the project will improve safety for everyone who relies on the roadway, including local motorists, pedestrians, school buses, and emergency vehicles traveling through the area.
In a statement, Kentucky Transportation Secretary Rebecca Goodman said the Cabinet is pleased to provide assistance that will help Carter County maintain safe connections within the community.
The Carter County Fiscal Court will oversee and administer the repair work. No timeline for construction has been announced at this time.
