Autumn’s rolling in and Olive Hill is getting ready to celebrate — mark your calendars for the 9th Annual “It’s Fall Y’all!” Vendor & Craft Festival at the historic Olive Hill Depot. That’s Saturday, October 4th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Railroad Street.
This is a true hometown day out — organizers promise a wide variety of vendors and handmade crafts, plenty of local food, live music, family activities and even inflatables for the kids. It’s the kind of fall festival that brings neighbors together, supports local makers, and fills the depot grounds with great smells, good tunes, and small-town energy.
Best of all: 100% of the profits from the festival will go toward restoring Olive Hill’s caboose, a project that will preserve a piece of our railroad heritage right here in Trail Town. So when you shop and eat at the festival you’re not just enjoying a perfect fall day — you’re helping keep our history alive.

If you’re ever unsure, don’t give out personal information, and don’t feel pressured to make any quick decisions at the door.
Instead, you can call Kentucky Power directly at 1-800-572-1113 to confirm whether a representative is legitimate. And if you spot something suspicious, report it right away.

It’s time to celebrate a big milestone in our community! All Creatures Veterinary Care is turning the big 3-0 — and they’re inviting YOU to their 30th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, September 12th from 2 to 7 PM!
This free, family-friendly event is packed with fun: the West Carter FFA will be serving up delicious food and drinks, plus you can enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides, tours of the clinic, adoptable pets from the Carter County Animal Shelter, and lots of great door prizes.
And the party doesn’t stop there — starting at 6 PM it’s time to kick off the Parking Lot Party! First up, live music from Dustin Burchett and Philip Green, followed at 7 by the one and only Bigg Catt Daddy Band with oldies, eighties favorites, and some original tunes too.

Auditions are open to anyone 16 and older, and they’ll take place on Friday, September 12th and Friday, September 19th at 6 p.m. The location is the Olive Hill Center for Arts & Heritage at 120 Comet Drive.
Based on the classic Dolly Parton film, this hilarious and empowering musical is packed with humor, heart, and unforgettable songs.
