A local fundraiser is planned in Carter County this week to support heart health and raise money for a national organization.
Team Buddy will host a hot dog lunch on Friday, April 10th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carter County Courthouse, with the event taking place in the second floor break room.
Organizers say meals will be available for eight dollars and will include a hot dog with homemade sauce, coleslaw, chips, dessert, and a drink.
All proceeds from the lunch will go toward the American Heart Association, supporting efforts to improve heart health and fund research and education.
Events like this offer a simple way for community members to come together, enjoy a meal, and contribute to a cause that impacts families across the region.
