If you’re looking for a job — or looking to hire — mark your calendar for a big opportunity coming to Grayson next month.
A Job Fair and Hiring Event is set for Wednesday, March 25th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the Kentucky Christian University Gymnasium, located at 100 Academic Parkway.
Organizers say this free event is designed to connect area employers with job seekers from across the region. Businesses interested in participating can reserve a spot now, while job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their résumé and be prepared for possible on-the-spot interviews.
The hiring event is sponsored by Kentucky Christian University and the Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce, and organizers say it’s a great chance to build connections, explore career paths, and potentially walk away with a new opportunity.
Again, the Job Fair and Hiring Event is coming up March 25th from 10 to 1 at the KCU Gymnasium in Grayson.

District 9 of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has released a traffic advisory for our listening area for today and tomorrow, as flagged traffic will be taking place here in Carter and neighboring Rowan counties for needed bridge inspections. The inspections are scheduled at multiple bridges on KY 7 in Carter County . On Wednesday, February 18, inspections will be performed at two locations east of Cave Run Lake, in Rowan County. A work platform is being used to access the underside of the bridge, which will necessitate a temporary single lane closure. The inspection is scheduled for 8:30am to 3:00pm Traffic should watch for flaggers at all locations.
For today lane closures with flaggers on site will take place on KY-7 over the Grayson Dam Spillway, the Clifty Creek near Sophie, and the Little Sandy River. Moving onto Wednesday the closures and flaggers will move to KY-1274 over the Licking River and North Craney Creek.
Friday, February 20, will be a make up day should it be needed. Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones, and remain aware of workers and inspection equipment when traveling. The Olive Hill City Council is all set to hold their regular monthly meeting for February this evening at 6 pm. The meeting will be held inside of the Olive Hill Police Station.
This evening’s meeting will focus on an agenda that includes but is not limited to the following items: a bluegrass and a tourism update, departmental reports from Olive Hill’s police, fire, and code enforcement departments all of which will be followed by the treasurer’s report for January of 2026. Finally, an executive session will wrap up the meeting held in accordance with KRS 61.810.
Once again that is the regular monthly meeting for the Olive Hill City Council this evening at 6pm in the Olive Hill Police Station.
