Guardrail work begins this week on KY 182 in Echo Canyon Area as a traffic advisory is in effect for motorists traveling along the route this week.
Starting at the beginning of this week, contractors began installing new guardrail in the Echo Canyon area, between US 60 (mile point 8.5) and KY 209 (mile point 9.7).
The work is expected to last approximately one week, with traffic controlled by flaggers during daytime hours. Drivers should expect temporary delays in the area.
As always, officials remind motorists to slow down in work zones, follow all posted signs, and remain alert for workers and construction equipment.
Schedules may be adjusted in the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen issues.
