Carter Caves State Resort Park will be hosting a job fair during the month of February where they are looking to round out their friendly and dedicated team with seasonal positions. The fair is scheduled for Monday, February 17th from 3 until 5pm inside the Lewis Caveland Lodge. Stop by for a chance to interview for positions ranging from housekeeping, food service, lifeguards, recreation, the front desk, campground, maintenance, and even working the mini golf course.
Anyone who may be interested in joining the Carter Caves Staff in one of these positions is being encouraged not to miss their opportunity to work at one of Kentucky’s most beautiful state parks. The annual MTXE Youth Basketball Camp held each year by the East Carter Raiders is headed your way this weekend. Organizers of the camp are looking forward to another great camp this year, and are excited to meet the future of the Raiders and Lady Raiders basketball programs.
The 2025 MTXE Youth Camp will be this Saturday, January 25th with Pre-k through 2nd grade students meeting from 9:30 to 10:30 and 3rd through 5th graders following from 10:40 to 12 noon. Please note that registration will be at the entrance of the Harold L. Holbrook Athletic Complex approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the camp for your child’s age group.

East Carter Middle School’s SBDM council will be meeting today at 3:35. On the agenda for this afternoon’s meeting is the student achievement report and data, school improvement planning, a budget report followed by committee reports, and more. The meeting will take place at the school.
