Phyllis J. Brady-Knipp

Phyllis Brady-Knipp, 79, of Olive Hill, KY, passed away Sunday, June 28,2026 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. She was born March 14, 1947, in Olive Hill, KY, the daughter of the late William Riley Johnson and Jemima Alice Seagraves Johnson Barker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Hall, Joann Whitt, and Martha Knipp; two brothers, Robert Johnson and Ercil Johnson.

She was a member of the Baptist faith and the Wolf Creek Baptist Church. Phyillis was an accountant.

She is survived by her husband, Donal Knipp; a son, Aaron (Melinda) Brady of Lancaster, OH; a daughter, Julie (Robert) Monestell of Florida; two step sons, Donnie Knipp of Anchorage, AK and Joseph Stanley Knipp of Ashland, KY ; a step daughter, Joyce Ann Knipp of Myrtle Beach, SC; three brothers, Everett Barker, Johnny Barker, Elijah Carlo Barker; a sister, Josephine Smith all of Olive Hill, KY; nine grandchildren, Lauren, Ronnie,Jeffrey, Julia, Michael, Tyler, Celine, Austin and Michelle; one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Wolf Creek Baptist Church, with Danny Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Sparks Funeral Home.
