Adam Beecher Gollihue, 48, of Ashland, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at his residence.
Born on September 1, 1977, in Louisa, Kentucky, Adam was the beloved son of Sandra Lee Church (Gary) Hornburg of Ashland and the late Donnie Beecher Gollihue. Adam carried with him the values of hard work, kindness, and devotion to family throughout his life. He was employed with Asplundh Tree Service, where his strong work ethic and steady spirit were evident to all who knew him.
Adam was a true outdoorsman at heart. He found peace and joy in hunting and fishing, embracing every opportunity to be surrounded by the beauty of nature. He also possessed a creative soul, with a deep passion for art and drawing that allowed him to express himself in thoughtful and meaningful ways. Those who knew Adam will remember him as a kind-hearted and gentle soul whose quiet strength and caring nature left a lasting impression.
Above all, Adam’s greatest joy was his family. He was a proud and loving father to Jason Adam (Justine) Gollihue of Willard, Hunter Shay (Whitley) Gollihue of Grayson, Makailah Dawn (Lawson Nelson) Gollihue and Michael Dean Beecher (Emily) Gollihue, both of Ashland. His precious grandchildren—Payton Gollihue, Chevel Gollihue, Rhettsyn Gollihue, Huttsyn Gollihue, and Kenedy Gollihue—were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to his mother, children, and grandchildren, Adam is survived by his sister, Jennie Lorraine Gollihue Berrien of Springfield, Ohio; his brother, Donald Wayne Gollihue of Eureka, California; his nephew, Joshua Alexander (Isabella) Berrien; great-nephews, Alexander Grant Berrien and Samuel Clyde Berrien; the mother of his children, Michelle Thompson Gollihue; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who deeply mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Hager Ratcliff officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the service hour. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com.
