Anita Carol Stanfield Walker, age 85, of Tollesboro, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky.
She was born May 22,1940, in Mason County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Estill and Rena Francis Hughes Stanfield.
Anita was a wonderful wife, Mother, and enjoyed taking care of her home, going out to eat, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Stanfield, Darrell Stanfield, Ricky Stanfield and one sister, Janice Thomas.
Anita is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edgar Boyd Walker; two daughters, Kim Hord of Tollesboro, Kentucky, Jackie Walker of Dover, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Amanda Fogleman, Bryan Hord; two great- grandchildren, Bentley Hord, Mila Hord; one brother, Frank Stanfield of Burtonville, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57, Tollesboro, Kentucky, with Brother David Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Garden of Memories in Mason County, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2026, until the service hour at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Frank Stanfield, Gary Mason, Bryan Hord, Bub Ruggles, Mark Fogleman, Robbie Stanfield and Johnny Hord will serve as pallbearers.
