Brian Lee Matlock, age 40, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Tollesboro, Kentucky.
He was born Saturday, April 26, 1986, in Terra Haute, Indianna, a son of Darla Price Gore of Vanceburg, Kentucky and the late Terry Wayne Matlock Sr.
He enjoyed working on trucks and cars with his son, traveling the back roads, sightseeing and putting Christopher in bed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, E.J. Matlock.
Brian is survived by his fiancée, Ashley Wallkingford; one son, Jesse Lee (Mace) Matlock of Bryant Indianna; two brothers, Terry Matlock Jr., Eric (Kaylah) Matlock, all of Bluffton Indianna, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6 p.m., July 14, 2026, at Concord Church.
