Carl “Foxy” Edward Haywood
1957 – 2025
Carl Haywood, 67, of Grayson passed away at his residence Tuesday, May 6th, 2025. He was born in Carter County, KY on September 22, 1957 to late George and Gladys (Hall) Haywood.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by three brothers, Tony Haywood, Dewey Haywood, and Ray Haywood; two sisters, Clarice Waulk and Frieda Johnson.
Carl was worked for the Carter County Board of Education as custodian.
He is survived by a son, Matthew (Heather) Haywood of Grayson; a daughter, Cayla (Daniel) Richardson of Hamilton, OH; six brothers; James Haywood of Grayson, Jack (Laura) Haywood of Michigan, George (Mary) Haywood of Michigan, Roy Haywood of Grayson, Paul (Arlene) Haywood, of Kentucky, and Billy Joe Haywood of Grayson; six grandchildren, Izabelle, Cheyanne, Jalen, Kimberly, Layla, and Nolan.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 15th, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Mark Griffin, minister.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 15th, 2025 from Noon until service time at the funeral home.
