Carolyn Sue Wilcox, 83, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Carter Nursing and Rehab Center. Carolyn was born October 23, 1941, in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Essie Greene Duncan Houck. She was a member of Trace Wesleyan Church and a homemaker. Carolyn was preceded in death by, sister, Elizabeth Duncan; brothers, Mike Duncan, Ronald Duncan, and Harold Duncan; daughter in law, Gina Wilcox; stepfather, Went Houck. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Walter Wilcox; daughter, Sherry and husband Hager Easterling of Grayson; sons, Alvin and wife Joni Wilcox of Grayson and Greg and wife Kim Wilcox of Morehead, KY; sister, Phyllis Gollihue of Ashland; brother, Jack Duncan of Flatwoods; grandchildren, Michael (Leigh Ann) Wilcox, Joey (KaDawna) Wilcox, Lindsey Wilcox, Ashley (Jeremy) Traylor, Kayla (Jeff) Grieme, Kristin Easterling, and Dalton Roe; great-grandchildren, Reid, Chase, Rayne , Dylan, Layla, Kyler, Kennedy, Chloe, Scarlet, and many family and friends that will miss her.
Funeral services will be conducted, at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Walter Wilcox and Bro. David Wilcox, ministers. The burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until service. The Pallbearers will be Michael Wilcox, Joey Wilcox, Reid Roberts, Chase Wilcox, Jeff Grieme and Jeremy Traylor.
