Constance “Connie” Mary Handley Brammer, 75, of South Point, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at River Run Healthcare of Franklin Furnace. Born on February 28, 1951, in Mt. Joy, Ohio, Connie was a cherished daughter of the late George Handley and Ann Williams Handley Fleming.
A devoted wife, Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Lee Brammer, and two brothers, Michael and Randy Handley. Throughout her life, Connie was known for her warm spirit and dedication to her family.
Connie worked as a legal secretary at Randy Lambert and Waldo Law Office in Ironton, Ohio, where she was respected for her professionalism and kindness. Outside of her career, Connie cherished the simple pleasures of life; she found joy in reading and sharing her home with her beloved cats.
She is survived by her brother, Robin (Lorrie) Handley of Webbville, KY; her sister, Melinda (Danny) McDavid of Willard, KY; as well as nieces and nephews whom she loved deeply and considered her own. She also leaves behind a host of friends and extended family who will profoundly miss her presence.
In keeping with Connie’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Fostering Possibilities, 310 S Carol Malone Blvd., Grayson, KY 41143, or Buckeye Hospice, 1122 Taylor Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
