Debra Ellen Johnson Fannin Harris, age 69, of Grayson, Kentucky, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at her residence after a courageous battle with illness. Born on March 10, 1956, in Ashland, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of the late Dallas Milton and Verna Mae Baugess Johnson.
Debbie was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Bobby Earl Harris; her daughter, Ellen Mae Michelle Fannin Triplett; her grandson, William Austin Goebel Greenhill; her sister, Janice D. Johnson Steel; her brother, Roger Johnson; her step-son, David Harris; and her niece, Delsena Fawn Everman. Each of these losses left a profound impact on her life, yet her faith remained a source of strength and comfort.
A devoted Christian, Debbie had a deep and abiding relationship with her Lord Jesus Christ, which guided her actions and interactions with others. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Carter Nursing and Rehab, where her caring nature shone brightly. Debbie was known for her selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own, and her warm spirit touched the lives of many.
Debbie is survived by her biological mother, Jane Ellen Spradlin of Florida; her son, Darrell (Missie) Fannin of Grayson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy; two step-daughters, April Harris and Spring Hart, both of Ashland; her sister, Pam (Michael) Everman of Rush; her sister-in-law, Karen Johnson of Florida; a close friend who she helped raise, Ethan Reyes; and a host of friends and extended family who will deeply mourn her passing.
In honoring Debbie’s wishes, a private graveside memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Malone Funeral Home in Grayson.
