Debbie Lynn Mitchell Meredith, age 60, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at Vanceburg Hills in Vanceburg, Kentucky.
She was born December 25, 1964, in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Roby and Macy Blankenship Mitchell.
She enjoyed cooking, especially cooking at Vanceburg Nursing Home for over 25 years, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of 17 years, David Hyrne; one son, Matthew Meredith and one sister, Sheila Kay Mitchell.
Debbie is survived by two sons, Jon (Amy) Meredith, Tommy (Debra) Meredith all of Vanceburg, Kentucky; 8 grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Amber, Josh, Colton, Jacob, Michael, Joshua; 9 great-grandchildren, Ari, Axton, Antonio, Payton, Teagan, Kionni, Elli, Tucker, Emerson; one daughter-in-law, Renae Conley of Vanceburg, Kentucky; one brother, Robert Mitchell of Morehead, Kentucky; one sister, Patricia Thomas of Owingsville, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
A Memorial Service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Veterans Memorial Park.
