Debra Lynn Cummings age 63, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Flemingsburg KY on Saturday April 19th, 2025. Born on July 13th, 1961, in Orange, California, Debra was the daughter of the late Earl Cummings and Juanita Cooper Skidmore. She was proceeded in death by one brother, Rick Cummings and her husband Edward Dudley. Left to cherish her memory are four siblings: Dennis Peet, Barbara (BJ) North, Ronnie Skidmore and Shannon Sherer as well as several nieces and nephews. Debra leaves behind three children: Johnny Kegley II (Heather Montieth) of Vanceburg, KY Samantha (Brandon) Fizer of Flemingsburg, KY and Brandi Burriss of Vallejo, CA. She had eight grandchildren: Nadilee, Ricky and Blake Buckler, Ryker Telecky, Jaycee and Emily Jergens, Grace Hubbard and Stanley Burriss. One great granddaughter, three-month-old Willow Flores.
Debra kept busy quilting, coloring and making jewelry. However, her favorite pastime was enjoying the company of her beloved dog, Millie, and watching football- Go Chiefs!
At the request of her children a private visitation was held on Monday April 21st, 2025, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, KY with Debra’s final wish of cremation following. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
