Donna Fleming Elliott, age 65, of Grayson, Kentucky, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Carter Nursing and Rehab Center after a courageous battle with illness. Born on July 3, 1960, in Grayson, she was the cherished daughter of the late Harlan Ray “Dick” Fleming and Nadine Mullins Fleming. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, L. Bradley Elliott.
A proud graduate of East Carter High School, Donna furthered her education at Morehead State University, where she earned her master’s degree and later achieved Rank One status in education. Throughout her 30 years of dedicated service as a teacher at Blaine and over 9 years as a substitute in Carter County, she made a profound impact on countless students’ lives, inspiring them with her passion for learning.
Donna’s faith in Christ was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both joys and challenges. In her leisure time, she savored traveling, having traveled to 28 countries, five continents and all 50 states; cultivated her passion for photography, and cherished moments with her beloved pets.
Donna is lovingly remembered by her husband of 31 years, Tom Elliott; her son, Caden Elliott of Grayson; and her daughter, Mary Jo (John) Miller of Grayson. She took immense pride in her role as a Nana to Isabella Miller of Lexington and Foster Miller of Grayson. She is also survived by her step-mother, Martha Jean Lewis Fleming of Grayson; a sister, Jeanne Rae (Nathan) Hutchinson of Richmond, KY; along with a host of friends and extended family members who will deeply miss her.
A graveside service to honor Donna’s life will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the East Carter County Memory Gardens, with Bro. Bradley Cotten officiating. A procession will depart from the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson at 10:45 AM that day.
