Dorothy Fair Perkins Kelley, 86 of Webbville, Ky went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 12th, 2025 at her home with her son, Ishmael, by her side. She was born on July 24th, 1938 in Louisa, KY.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Ray Kelley; her parents, Lee Perkins and Allie Fair Perkins (Daniels); three sisters, Sydney Perkins, Janette Young and Nellie Mae Limings; two brothers, Lawrence Perkins and Bill Perkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Ishmael Kelley (Brenda); Melvin Kelley (Susie); two daughters, Sharon Ross (Eddie Ross) and Earlene Kelley (Rick Stevens); three grandchildren, Brandon Kelley (Tia Via), Amber Kelley (Randy Smith), and Andrea Kelley; a great- grandchild, Seth Boggs; two sisters, Pearl Chaffins and Ines Faye Boggs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Dorothy’s niece, Loretta Blevins, wanted to add Dorothy has always been a special aunt to her.
Dorothy was a Christian and attended Missionary Baptist Church and Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church. Dorothy was a dedicated homemaker for her family. Also, she enjoyed spending time and cooking for her family, working in her garden, and caring for her animals.
The family extends a very special thank you to the fantastic staff at Community Hospice Care Center for taking such good care of her and to Dorothy’s special friend and caregiver, Betty Riley. Also, a heartfelt thanks to Malone’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Friday, January 17, 2025 at Malone Funeral Home of Grayson, Ky with Bro. David Boggs and Bro. Hagar Ratcliff officiating. Friends may visit with the family 5-8 pm Thursday, January 16th and after 9 am Friday until the service hour. Burial will follow at the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
