Obituary for George B. Bradford
George B. Bradford, age 75, of Grayson, Kentucky, formerly of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by the love of his devoted wife. Born on July 22, 1950, in Aliquippa, he was the cherished son of the late Jennings and Mary Christy Bradford. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Bonnie Bradford.
A faithful Christian, George was a dedicated member of the Hitchins Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed a fulfilling career at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, from which he retired in 2005, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.
George was a true family man, whose love for his family was evident in everything he did. He took immense pride in his role as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His passion for antique cars was well-known, particularly his pride and joy, a beautifully restored red 1952 Ford pickup truck, which he cherished and enjoyed sharing with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Suzette Bradford; five children: Tracy (Roy) Holton of New Bern, NC, Shelly Plummer of Beaver Falls, PA, George Bradford, Jr. of Midland, PA, Jimmy (Rebecca) Nelson of Clearfield, KY, and Michael Bradford of Grayson, KY. George’s legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, along with a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss his warm spirit and kind heart.
Funeral services to honor George’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, with Denver Prater and Josh Marshall officiating. Entombment will follow at the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Friends are invited to pay their respects from 11:00 AM until the service hour on Saturday.
