Glenna Wright, 90, of Grayson, KY, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. She was born August 22, 1934, in Grayson, the daughter of the late Dee and Chloe Worthington Wright. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Russell Wright, and a sister, Betty Wright.

Glenna was of the Christian faith and a member of the First Church of Christ in Grayson. She had worked at the Grayson Rural Electric Coop Corporation for many years.

She is survived by a niece, Kathy (Bill) Rigney of Hazard, KY; nephew, Rusty Wright of Waverly, OH; great nieces, Kate (Josh) Gary, Lauren (Zac Smith) Wright, Avery and Norah Smith; cousins, Virgil and Sue Messer, Phillip and Darlene Messer and Tom and Carol Mitchell. Special friends who were her caretakers: Dana (Kippy) James, Jill (Chris) Bond, Rob (Saundrea) Yoak, Brenda (Bob) Yoak; grandchildren, Addison and Alexis Bond, Cameron James, Caleb (Destiny) James, and Rylan and Landon Yoak. A very special thanks to Roxanne Kegley and her team of caregivers.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 27, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Sparks Funeral Home, Ben James, minister. Burial will follow in the Everman Cemetery near Rock Springs.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
