Herman Hall, Jr., age 71, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the UK King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Born on May 14, 1954, he was the beloved son of the late Herman, Sr. “Duck-Eye” and Hazel Johnson Hall. Herman was preceded in death by his cherished brother, William Riley Hall.
A true lover of the great outdoors, Herman found joy in hunting and fishing, often spending his days immersed in nature. His small farm was a testament to his passion for animals and the land where he dedicated countless hours tending to his beloved creatures. Herman was also known for his keen eye for a good trade, frequently attending trade day events.
Herman is survived by his devoted companion of many years, Sheri See, of Grayson, KY. He leaves behind a loving family, including four brothers: Howard (Kathy) Hall of Webbville, KY, Manuel (Beth) Hall of Grayson, KY, John (Cheryl) Hall of Ohio, and Claude (Mary) Hall of Grayson, KY. He is also survived by two sisters, Bertha (Chuck) Sexton of Grayson, KY, and RoxAnn (Charles) Riffe of Webbville, KY; one special sister-in-law, Evelyn (Mick) Hall Grills along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who deeply mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, KY, with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating.
