Hubert Franklin Johnson, 79, of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Woodland Oaks after a long illness. Hubert was born March 18, 1946, in Grayson, KY, a son of Stirl and Gladys Newland Johnson. He was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. Mr. Johnson was preceded by his wife, Anita Cameron Johnson; grandson, Lucas Andrew Jordan; sisters, Joann Issacs, Mary Opal Curtin and Nancy Gollihue; brothers, Herbert “Bossie” Johnson and Robert Stirling Johnson. He is survived by three sons, Hubert H. (Kara) Johnson of Grayson, James Johnson of Westwood and Brandon Jordan of Grayson; a daughter, Breanna Dawn Goble of Prestonsburg, KY; grandchildren, Makaila Sheedy, Caleb Jordan, Paige Jordan, Lakyn Suttles, Tylin Suttles and Pierce Parker; Matt Gee, Rachel Gee, Elijah Gee and Aubrey Gee, who he thought of his own kids and grandkids; special dog, Sparky; special friends, Jesse Banfield and Rick Miller.
