James E Steele, age 85 of Obetz, OH, passed away on February 9, 2025. He was born on May 5, 1939 to the late Earl and Phoebe Seagraves Steele in Grayson, KY. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Earl Jr (Colleen) Steele, Otis (Ellen) Steele, Lucille (John) Rice, Bertha (Clarence) Wells, Paul (Dorothy) Steele, Faye (Harry) Scott, Mennie (Harold) Rogers, Raymond Steele, Bonnie (Ronald) Floyd, Carolyn Seagraves, Judy Perkins and Mary (Chester) Marcum.
James is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Anna Seagraves Steele, children James “Phil” (Vicki Wilson) Steele, Sheila (Mike) Dorion and Bruce Edward Steele, a sister Cora Messer of Grayson, KY, grandchildren Erin Steele, Shana (Cory) Aycock, Jamie (Krista) Steele, Joseph Steele, Justin (Amber) Steele, Brian (Jessica) Dorion, Anthony (Heather) Dorion, and Kyle (Ashley) Dorion, great grandchildren Jax Steele, Marlee Bates, Pacey Aycock, Jovie Steele, Landon Steele, Bellamy Steele, Jocelyn Dorion, Shelby Dorion, Nora Dorion, Colton Dorion, Corban Dorion, Elli Dorion, Kylie Dorion, Kameron Dorion and Kelsey Dorion.
