Kathy Hall King
1956-2026
Kathy King, 70 of Lexington, KY, formerly of Grayson, KY, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born February 15, 1956, in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Eddie and Elizabeth Blevins Hall. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward King; three sisters, Deloris Sparks, Betty Gilmore, and Irene Hall; and a brother, Robert Hall.
Kathy had a Master’s degree in finance from Morehead State University and had worked at several local banks, including The Commercial Bank and 1st National Bank.
She is survived by a daughter, Christal Young Harrison of Lexington, KY; a brother, Carl Hall of Madison, OH; two sisters, Ida Mae Spivak of Painesville, OH, and Wilma Jean Simeral of Wicklife, OH; a granddaughter, Raven Campbell of Lexington, KY; and a special niece, Melinda Sparks of Miamisburg, OH.
A gathering of friends and family will be on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the Sparks Funeral Home. Burial will be Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Grahn, KY.
