Larry Douglas Fearis, age 79, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born December 13, 1945, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a son of the late Harry and Estile Evans Fearis.
Larry attended Hickory Grove Christian Holiness Church. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, watching TV and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Judy Moreland Fearis; one son, Gary Dean (Christie) Fearis of Savannah, Georgia; one daughter, Cheri Gay (Jim) Chandler of Maysville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Gregory Green, Joshua Chandler, Justin Chandler, Brooks Gulley, Tyler Fearis; two sisters, Carolyn June Wills, Vickie Lynn Switzer both of Vanceburg, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57, Tollesboro, Kentucky, with Brother Charlie Hampton officiating. Burial will be follow in Ebenezer Cemetery on Cabin Creek in Lewis County.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2025, until the service hour at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Justin Chandler, Joshua Chandler, Tyler Fearis, Gregory Green, Jamie Mitchell and Ryan Wills will serve as pallbearers.
