Linda Lou Sawyer Sorensen
1943-2026
Linda Sorensen, 82, of Grayson, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at her residence. She was born August 16, 1943, in Norfolk County, VA, the daughter of the late Rex Sawyer and Rosalie Parisher Sawyer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia Lee Carroll; her sister, Sylvia Randal; and her granddaughter, Haley E. May.
Linda was of the Christian faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy May of Grayson, KY; her two sisters, Pennie Bass of Tifton, GA, and Debbie Rooks of Kitty Hawk, NC; and her seven grandchildren, Amber, Vicki, Caleb, Justin, Nicole, Lauren, and Christian.
A memorial service may be conducted at a later date.
