Micheal Clayton Sullivan, 47, of Iron Hill, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation in Wurtland, Kentucky. Born on August 6, 1978, in Ashland, Kentucky, he was the son of Janet Brinegar Sullivan and the late Lawrence Sullivan.
A devoted father and grandfather. Micheal cherished his family above all else. He was known for his generous spirit and his ability to lend a hand, making him a true jack of all trades. His love for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies; Micheal found joy in fishing, hunting, and digging ginseng.
Micheal leaves behind a loving family, including his three children: Clayton (Paige) Sullivan, Caleb Sullivan, and MaKayla “Rosie” Sullivan. He also was a proud grandfather to Lane and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of another grandchild, Luke. He is survived by his two brothers, Jamie Sullivan and Danny Sullivan, both of Iron Hill, a niece, Emma Sullivan; a special friend and mother of his children, Susan Sullivan; and a host of friends and extended family who will deeply miss him.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jamie Sullivan, Danny Sullivan, Clayton Sullivan, Caleb Sullivan, Larry Sullivan, Phillip Brineger, and Mikie Harper.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Malone Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Jerry Jordan. Burial will follow at Sullivan Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
