Pauletta Denise Christy Evans, 63, of Vanceburg, passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident on March 28, 2026.
She was born in Lewis County on May 5, 1962, to the late Robert Christy and Betty Blevins Edington.
Denise was a homemaker and the heart of her family, always putting them first. Anyone that spent time with her knew how greatly she loved them all. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach with her husband and family, attending her grandchildren’s school and sporting events and shopping with her family, especially her aunt Norma Blevins Billman.
Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 45 years, Colin Ray Evans; three daughters: Amy (Brandon) McCray, Ashley (Josh) White, and Brittany Wolfe; greatly loved grandchildren Colby White, Cameron Wolfe, Carly White, Ryan Wolfe, Tyson McCray, Olivia McCray, Tristan Hanna and Sylas Hanna; her mother Betty Edington; one sister Lorie (Marc) Adams; two brothers Victor (Melanie) Christy and Matthew (Jackie) Christy 8many other family members and friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Issabella Hanna and her stepfather, Darrel Edington.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix, with Brother Edward Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Vergne Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 11 am, Saturday, May 16, 2026, until the serve hour at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Camp Dix.
Pallbearers will be Adam Christy, Cory Christy, Lucas Adams, Gabe Adams, Colby White, Cameron Wolfe, Ryan Wolfe, and Tyson McCray. Honorary pallbearers will be Tristan Hanna and Sylas Hanna.
