Peggy Ingles Hicks, 55, of Grayson, KY, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at her residence with family by her side. Peggy was born March 29, 1970, and was the daughter of Carol Morrison Ingles and the late Bill Ingles.
Peggy’s faith defined her life. A devoted Christian who loved Jesus fiercely, she was a longtime member of Hitchins 2nd Freewill Baptist Church. She also taught and led a women’s Bible study for three years. Peggy faced life’s challenges with unwavering trust in her Lord Jesus Christ, and her quiet strength and steadfast faith were a blessing to all who knew her.
Family was Peggy’s greatest joy. She cherished the time spent with her mother, brother, and sister, and she never got tired of proclaiming that her two sons were the light of her life. She adored her grandchildren and loved them with all her heart.
Peggy is survived by her two sons, Ryan (Kacy) Hicks and Dustin Hicks, both of Grayson, KY; two grandchildren, Kirra Hicks and Sadie Hicks; one brother, Kelly Ingles of Grayson, KY; one sister, Whitni (Cody) Walter of Oak Hill, OH: and a host of extended family and friends that mourn her passing.
A very special shoutout to her dear cousins, Pat Blevins and Kim Rucker who where always by her side, her church family, Pastor Ron (Terri) Johnson who were near and dear to her heart, and another special cousin Crystal Seagraves.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Malone Funeral Home, with Bro. Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
