Rhonda Kay Skidmore Kegley, age 58 , of Garrison, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 25, 1967, in Bucyrus, Ohio, a daughter of Martha Ellen Tackett Skidmore of Garrison, Kentucky and the late Alfred Nelson Skidmore.
Rhonda was of the Christian Faith. She loved the outdoors, going mudding, four wheeling, hiking, fishing, camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two infant siblings.
Rhonda is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Marlin Kegley; two sons, Nelson Kegley, Derrick Kegley both of Garrison, Kentucky; two extended daughters, Mary Kegley, Erin Sheets; 3 grandchildren, Braden Kegley, Kaylee Kegley, Brooklyn Carrington; three sisters, Angela (Bradley) Sparks of Black Oak, Kentucky, Tina Skidmore, Carrie (Jesse) Mosley all of Garrison, Ketucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street, Vanceburg, Kentucky, with Brother Morgan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Skidmore Cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2025, and after 9 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 2025, until the service hour at Dickerson Funeral Home.
Channing Hall, Anthony Gayheart, Kent Robinson, Jacob Kegley, David Goodwin and Johnny Kegley will serve as pallbearers.
