Roger David Griffitt, age 57, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 1, 1968, in Bucyrus, Ohio, a son of the late Adrian and Alma Rankins Griffitt.
Roger loved working and taking care of his yard, watching football and especially spending time with his granddaughters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Emersyn Kate Bloomfield; one brother, Adrian Griffitt Jr.; two sisters, Donna Coffey and Linda Agin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Teresa Moore Griffitt; one son, David Griffitt of Morehead, Kentucky; one daughter, Natasha (Wes) Bloomfield of Vanceburg, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Kambrie and Ivy Bloomfield; two sisters, Brenda Quick of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Debbie Coldiron of Vanceburg, Kentucky, along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Graveside services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Happy Hollow Cemetery, in Tollesboro, Kentucky, with Brother Kent Moore officiating.
