Ronald Dean “Cowboy” Rigdon, age 68, of Maysville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born Thursday, March 6, 1958, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a son of the late Maurice Nelson and Audrey Cropper Rigdon.
Dean was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Chris. He loved anything pertaining to farming, animals and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Rigdon.
He is survived by one son, Morris Dean (Jolene) Rigdon of Georgetown, Kentucky; three sisters, Irene Shoemaker of Maysville, Kentucky, Della Liles of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Carmen Kinney of Vanceburg, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Bethel Cemetery in Tollesboro, Kentucky, with Brother Jerry Blevins officiating.
