Ronnie Enix, age 70, of Laurel, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 13, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Sunday, July 11, 1954, in Garrison, Kentucky, a son of Verdis Jordan Enix of Laurel, Kentucky and the late Clyde Enix.
Ronnie was the Pastor of 1068 Independent Church of Christ and loved going to church. He enjoyed gardening, sitting on the porch reading his Bible, riding his golf cart, taking his grandchildren to Cracker Barrel, but most of all spending time with them.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rose Butler Enix; one son, Zebedee (Kerri) Enix of Laurel, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Mckenzee Enix, Hudson Enix, Emmy Rose Enix; four brothers, Dale (Debbie) Enix, Tom (Betty Jo) Enix, Donnie Enix all of Laurel, Kentucky; Doug (Casey) Enix of Vanceburg, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 1068 Independent Church of Christ, 6990 Laurel Creek Road, Vanceburg, Kentucky, with Brother Jason Caudill and Brother Bobby Buckler officiating. Burial will follow in Enix Family Cemetery on Tar Fork.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2025, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, 7975 Lower Kinney Road, Camp Dix, Kentucky, and after 10 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025, until the service hour at 1068 Independent Church of Christ.
Zebedee Enix, Dale Enix, Tom Enix, Donnie Enix, Doug Enix, Jesse Enix, Blake Rogers, Donaven Butler and Ray Butler will serve as pallbearers.
Mckenzee Enix, Hudson Enix, Emmy Rose Enix will serve as honorary pallbearers.
