Shari Lee Sparks Cook, age 64, of Tollesboro, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky.
She was born September 9, 1961, in Fleming County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Floyd Douglas and Elizabeth Schweichart Sparks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Douglas Sparks, Timothy Wheeler; two sisters, Rita Lightner and Sheila Sparks Howard.
Shari is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ronald Ron Cook; one brother, George (Kim) Sparks of Tollesboro, Kentucky; three sisters, Judy (Gordon) Geagley of Tollesboro, Kentucky, Sandra Crispo, Sue Ann Yockey both of West Palm Beach, Florida; several nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Pine Valley Christian Church in Tollesboro, Kentucky, with Brother Phil Cropper officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Valley Cemetery in Lewis County.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026, until the time of service at Pine Valley Church.
Tony Butler, Jimmy Joe Lightner, Wyatt Sparks, Dwight Malone, Mark Thurman and Luke Sparkswill serve as pallbearers.
