Teri Lynn Castor Marshall, age 52, of Rush, Kentucky, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born on September 26, 1973, in Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Francis “Bud” and Pamela Maddox Castor.
Teri dedicated many fruitful years to her work at the AT&T Call Center, where her vibrant spirit touched the lives of both colleagues and customers alike. A devoted Christian, Teri had a profound love for her Savior, which was evident in her kindness and compassion towards others.
Among her many passions, Teri found joy in attending Sand Drag Races, cheering on her beloved UK Basketball team, and embarking on memorable road trips to the Smoky Mountains with John, the love of her life.
Teri’s memory will be cherished by her loving husband, John Matthew Marshall; her brother, Brian (Sandy) Castor of Summit; her nieces, Megan Davis and Lakin Perrine, whom Teri adored as if they were her own; her best friend and sister at heart, Shelley Dawson, and her children, Shelby Dawson and Darianne Short. She will also be remembered fondly by her fur baby, Ellie May, and a wide circle of friends and extended family who are heartbroken at her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, with burial following at the Coalton Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM on Friday and after 9 AM on Saturday until the service hour.
