Travis Lee Prince, age 37, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his mother’s residence. Born on August 29, 1987, in Louisa, Kentucky, he was the beloved son of Kathy Spillman Carver and the late David Prince.
Travis was a dedicated employee at Altec Corporation, where he worked diligently on service projects for communication towers. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his family and friends. A proud father, Travis, found immense joy in attending his precious daughter Ady’s softball games, where his enthusiastic support and encouragement were a constant source of motivation for her.
In his leisure time, Travis enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—fishing in the serene waters, cooking delicious meals, and sharing laughter and stories around the table with friends and family. He had a special bond with his beagle, Winston, who was always by his side, bringing comfort and companionship.
In addition to his mother, Travis is survived by his loving children, Ady Prince, Sofia Oakley and Noah Oakley all at home; his fiancée, Cortni Oakley of Grayson; He is also survived by his brother, Michael Prince of Grayson; his sister, Michelle (Jeff) Shannon of Louisa; two nieces, Rileigh Shannon and Elli Bradley; a nephew, Lincoln Shannon; his mother and father-in-law, DeAnna and Jon Bradley of Grayson; a brother-in-law, Jeremy Bradley; and a host of friends and family who will deeply miss his vibrant spirit and kind heart.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, Kentucky, with Bro. Kyle Burchett officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradley Family Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation from 6-9 PM on Monday and after 9 AM on Tuesday until the service hour at the funeral home.
