Wayne L. Fraley
1933-2025
Wayne L. Fraley, 91, of New Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. He was born on August 16, 1933, in Deer Creek, Kentucky, the son of the late Dallas and Mary Fraley. Wayne was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War.
Wayne was a masonry contractor by trade and worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He worked for over 20 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Bethel Local Fire Department. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and was loved by many. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, wife of six years, Maude Ruth Fraley, wife of 58 years, Sherry Jane Fraley, son Clinton Fraley, four siblings, Haskel, Lois, Lucille & Alene, and daughter-in-law Ros Fraley.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Leny) Fraley, James (Pat) Fraley, Donald Fraley, Brenda Fraley, and Beth (David) Bonham; grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Jessica, Sabrina, Jeremiah, and Forellen; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, August 18, 2025, from 6pm-7pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with a time of sharing beginning at 7pm. Burial will be at Grayson Memorial Park in Grayson, KY, with Graveside services at 2pm on August 20, 2025. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.trostelchapman.com.
