William H. Berry, Sr., 82, of Grayson passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at his nephew’s residence. William was born on Tuesday August 25, 1942, in Grayson, KY a son of the late, Dallas and Creola Short Berry. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death his loving wife of 52 years, Gloria Gollihue Berry; a daughter, Samantha Berry; a stepdaughter, Rachael Jean Boyd Moore; a step-grandson, Arthur Ray Boyd, Jr.; a brother, Lee Ottis Berry; three sisters, Billie Waugh, Nemo Hall, and Reva J. Sparks.
William was a quiet natured man who enjoyed doing farm work. He liked to go Ginseng hunting, pick his guitar, and spend his evening sitting on the porch.
William is survived by one son, William H. Berry, Jr. of Grayson, KY; two stepsons, Arthur Ray (Donna) Boyd of Ashland, KY and Ernest (Jewell) Boyd of Ironton, OH; one brother, James Robert Berry of Olive Hill, KY; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends that will mourn his passing.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Boyd Cemetery in Ashland, KY with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 (Noon) at Malone Funeral Home. The funeral procession will leave Malone Funeral Home at 12:00 (Noon) on Thursday in route to Boyd Cemetery for graveside services. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
