William Isaac Potter Jr., age 73, of Union, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Maysville, Kentucky.
He was born August 19, 1951, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a son of the late William Isaac Potter Sr. and Dorothy Riley Potter.
He enjoyed going out to eat, traveling, watching sports and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Dean Potter, Norman Potter and Tom Potter.
William is survived by two sons, Jason Scott (Deena) Potter of Florence, Kentucky, Josh (Jamie) Potter of Hebron, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe (Marla) Potter of Tollesboro, Kentucky; two sisters, Loretta Potter, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Alberta Orlandi of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law, Jane Potter of Quincy, Kentucky, Billie Potter of Garrison, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Service,11918 KY 57, Tollesboro, Kentucky, with William’s nephew, Brian Potter and Brother Milt Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025, and after 9 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2025, until the service hour at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Caleb Reynolds, Gavin Potter, Codey Potter, Tommy Potter, Dustin Baker and Jeremy Crouch will serve as pallbearers.
