Wilma Katherine Sullivan Blankenship, 77, of Ashland, Kentucky, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at her residence. Born on March 29, 1948, in Grayson, KY, she was the beloved daughter of the late James Walter and Delphia Kibbey Sullivan.
Wilma was a devoted Christian whose caring heart touched all who knew her. She was a dedicated caregiver to her sister Minnie for many years and found great joy when tending to her flower garden, where her love for nature blossomed.
She is survived by her five sisters, Minnie Sullivan of Ashland, KY, Pauline White of Flatwoods, KY, Hazel Boggs of Greenup, KY, Edna Fraley, and Christine (Jack) Leadingham, both of Grayson, KY; one son, Joseph Michael Blankenship of Ohio; along with a host of extended family and friends who deeply mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Sullivan Family Cemetery.
